Routine Well Exams

Routine Well Exams

Our routine exams include:

  •  Well-child checks and school or sports physicals
  • Immunizations
  • Vision and hearing testing
  • Watch for any signs of developmental delay or disability.
  • Offer recommendations appropriate to your child’s age on nutrition, fitness, safety and injury prevention
  • Between the ages of 18 months and 3 years, we also perform the M-CHAT screening for autism.

It is always best to have your child’s checkups done with the primary physician. The continuity of care provided by your pediatrician is a valuable benefit to having a relationship with your primary physician.

Please schedule regular visits with your pediatrician for the first two years of his or her life. Once your child is three years old, checkups are required once a year.

Well child visits will include specific vaccines recommended by the Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics(AAP)
